As the Chief Operating Officer, my responsibility is leading the LEAP Team in providing our clients with a world class experience. As a fast growing company LEAP constantly has a range of special projects.With over 10 years' experience working with LEAP clients I am deeply familiar with the application of our software solutions in small law firms. LEAP Office Cloud provides us with unique new ways to deliver matter information and legal content to lawyers on the move. I am currently working with the development team and the content team to drive this convergence further to provide our clients with the most useful solutions.

After working with LEAP Legal Software for over 9 years, and working closely with our whole client base, I have now moved my focus to providing the best customer service for LEAP Office clients with 10 or more users. I manage a team of LEAP professionals dedicated to the needs of our clients in this category. This team has staff that have been working with LEAP for a number of years and understand the needs of our clients. This includes Project Management for new clients who are transitioning over to LEAP Office.

I have been with LEAP Legal software for 9 years managing both Consulting and HelpDesk nationally.As National Services Manager my main responsibility is the top level management of the National Helpdesk, however have other projects that I am managing.

LEAP is a fast growing company and as our client numbers increase, more so in states other than NSW, the need for State Consulting Managers became apparent. As I have been a consultant and managed the consultants in previous roles, I moved into this position to then train up the State Managers to take over as leaders of their own consulting team.In this role I am responsible for the state managers across Australia who have a team of Consultants on LEAP Documents and LEAP Accounting working with them. This team is responsible for the installation and training for new and existing clients on our software across Australia.

Whilst in my role as National Consulting Manager, I moved and lived in Brisbane to run the our QLD Branch Office for 6 months.In this role I was responsible for the operations side of the branch office as well as still running the Consulting team.

After being in a consulting role for 4 years I progressed into the Consulting Managers position.In this role I was responsible for the Consulting team that was all over Australia. Their responsibilities were for Installation & Training for new and existing clients of LEAP Software.

I first started working for LEAP as a Consultant in 2001 where I worked for approximately 8 months. After leaving to travel I then returned in April 2003 to take off where I left off.I progressed my up throughout this period to a Senior LEAP Documents Consultant and it is my nature to promote individual and group excellence. “Like most of our consultants I used to work in a small law firm and we are always looking for smart paralegals to join our consulting team. Understanding how small firms work makes all the difference and our clients appreciate the practical guidance that we provide.”

It allows everyone in your firm to work naturally using a single integrated system that enables you to do more work with the same number of people. Automated document production and tasks are combined with all the record keeping needed including time recording (mobile & desktop) and billing, safe custody, and your legal and client accounting. We like to help lawyers help people which is why we have such a deliberate focus on the areas of law most common to small firms.

To assist with the start up of Smokeball in the United States, I lived in Chicago for 3 months. During this time I was responsible for all Client Management, this included new client installations, attending current client and gathering the required feedback, set up of new processes for future Client Management employees and creation of training material for a knowledge base for our clients.

Coming almost straight out of high school, I started this role working in the mail room and photocopying briefs for counsel.After 3 months of this role and enrolling myself into a typing course, I was promoted to a Junior Legal Secretary role. Then across 3.5 years moved my way up into Legal Secretary and then Senior Legal Secretary working for a Partner of the firm.
