As a school principal and an educational leader, I have over 10 years of experience in enhancing programming, curriculum, and instruction in various settings and levels. I currently serve as the principal of The Academy of Our Lady of Peace, a kind and caring school where I support the academic growth of students and the achievement of NJ learning standards.My passion for STEM education and technology integration stems from my background in engineering and design, which I have applied to create and implement innovative curricular products and professional development for educators and students. Through my collaboration with the administrative team, I have established a strategic plan for technology integration that enabled the district to move to a 1 to 1 chromebook learning environment with decentralized classrooms and achieve Future Ready Certification. I have also developed and launched a K-8 STEM program that incorporated additive manufacturing and computational thinking. Additionally, I have shared my expertise and insights through multiple publications and awards in the field of environmental education and engineering education.
