Program Manager, Creator Engagement @ Youtube
CurrentIn my current position, I develop and execute strategies to engage creators across various YouTube-branded moments, including influencer marketing partnerships, tentpole events and experiences, sales summits, and global creator programs. I facilitate engagements between internal teams and creators by providing support through strategy development, shortlisting and selection, budget allocation, negotiation guidance, internal approvals, outreach, and tracking. I collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing, partnerships, sales, PR, product, research, legal, and policy and I lead monthly XFN reviews to bring awareness to creator engagement initiatives across team leads. My key contributions include:• Overseeing and tracking 2,000+ creator offers for 340+ engagement opportunities that totaled $15m in creator deal spend since January 2023, achieved after mass layoffs that eliminated the rest of the team.• Procuring headlining speakers for tentpole marquee events, including Brandcast, Cannes Lions, and Made On YouTube.• Structuring contract terms for 4 creator access programs surrounding the 2024 Paris Olympics, leading the internal approval process obtaining global sign-off from country leads, regional VPs, and YouTube’s Chief Business Officer; securing 30 creators from 14 countries with a combined reach of 240m+.• Consulting on campaigns, including NFL Sunday Ticket, the Super Bowl TV Ad spot, Coachella, and artist song launches. • Setting a new precedent for VidCon content programming by cultivating internal alignment to include social deliverables for all 26 speakers in 2024. • Collaborating with sales teams to develop creator engagement strategy for B2B summits with high-priority clients such as Nestle, Uber, and Colgate-Palmolive.• Leading the on-ground creator experience during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.• Overhauling the talent procurement process by establishing fee guidance and centralizing and standardizing creator engagement tracking.
