I’m an experienced leader who wants people and organizations to realize and live their purpose. My calling is to help organizations understand how to approach and implement transformation successfully, so they may realize their desired impact.By using a clear vision and corporate strategy that resonates with employees, stakeholders, clients and rightsholders, I create alignment with diverse and often competing groups. By aligning key client service journeys, and related service touch points, to an organization’s strategic priorities, I make it more efficient for people to understand how to identify, sequence and act on critical change initiatives, which support the desired vision and its strategic priorities.By using service journeys, decision makers can more easily identify underlying processes, technology, physical locations, and other assets that need to be modernized, to achieve the desired outcomes associated with that service journey and its overarching strategic priority. My approach to transformation does not overlook the biggest factor that contributes to or dilutes the effectiveness of that organizational change—your existing culture. Implementing transformation often requires leadership with different skill sets and most importantly, to be open to creating value in new ways. As an empathy-based person, I understand why change often evokes fears in others, and can manifest in unwanted behaviours that create conflict amongst a team. I regularly use crucial conversation skills to address the root cause behind that friction and come to an understanding with leaders where conflict once tried to take shape. By working with executive leadership, to ensure their active support for transformation, as well as implementing a performance measurement framework, to ensure ongoing accountability, I continue to build on a 15+ years’ career creating impact across sectors and industries, which benefit people, planet and profits.

By identifying where innovation methodologies and system thinking could be applied to the Provincial Clinical and Preventative Services Plan (PCPSP), I supported systems changes that make life better for Manitobans and our communities. -
