Profile bio

About Kelly Fryer

In my work as a vision-partner, strategist, facilitator and coach, I’m proud to receive reviews like this one from Laurie Liles, CEO and President of the Arizona Grantmakers Forum: “When an organization embarks on a journey whose destination is unknown, its leaders need an experienced Sherpa. Someone who can point out the pitfalls ahead, as well as the not-to-be-missed vistas along the trail. Fryer & Associates brought a unique blend of clear-eyed strategic thinking, data analysis and empathy to our project that helped us focus on efficiencies and reimagine new possibilities. Kelly makes her clients feel like theirs is the only project she’s working on, even though that’s clearly not the case. Her energy and enthusiasm for the work at hand are infectious, but she balances both with objectivity and the wisdom of a seasoned leader.”Laurie wrote this after my team and I designed and facilitated the process that led to the bold, vision-driven merger of Arizona Grantmakers Forum and Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, two powerful statewide membership associations that are now leveraging their combined strength for greater impact. This is the kind of work I love to do - complex, collaborative, creative, impactful. Throughout my career, I’ve been intentional about working - often simultaneously - in executive/entrepreneurial leadership, education, and consulting. I’ve found that this combination of DOING + TEACHING + COACHING feeds my own need to always be learning and growing, and helps me do each of those things better for the benefit of my clients/employers. Reach out if you think my team and I can be helpful in any of the following ways:•Growth Strategies & Strategic Visioning•Collaborative Partnerships, Mergers & Acquisitions•Executive transitions, Search processes and Interim leadership •Business Development & Social EnterpriseWe’ll work with anybody who is doing what matters and is ready to do what’s next but our clients tend to be:Nonprofit organizationsPrivate & community foundationsSmall businesses, with special expertise in the food & beverage sectorEducational institutionsLearn more at www.TeamFryer.com.

Candidate For Governor Of Arizona

Fryer For Arizona

Po Box 1549 Tucson Az 85702

The Arizona Republic said my non-traditional campaign "broke the mold." We changed the conversation, with a bold vision of an "Arizona for Everyone," and we gave Arizonans a new imagination for what leadership can look like in our state. My primary opponents had a big head start; both had been in politics before, and had statewide name recognition, a war chest and the political establishment behind them. Yet, in just six months, my campaign built a network of volunteers who collected 11,000 signatures, more than any other Democrat running for any other office in the state, to qualify for the ballot; I traveled more than 30,000 miles, through all 15-counties and a dozen tribal nations, to talk with and listen to thousands of Arizonans; and we used digital media, producing more than 80 livestream and recorded videos, to bypass the corporate media and reach out directly to voters. In the end, we spent just 10% of what my opponents spent and had just a third of the time to make our case to voters, but we "spoke to the hearts of Arizonans" (Linda Valdez, Arizona Republic), won 17% of the vote and helped contribute to record breaking voter turnout in all 15-counties.
