Advisor to the Liquidation Trust Supervisory Board (LTSB) overseeing the Wind Down Entity of the Woodbridge Liquidation Trust. This role is a continuation of prior Committee Member service in support of the 8,000+ victims of the Woodbridge fraud. My business partner, co-owner of G3 Group, served as Chair of the six voting Members of LTSB, while I serve as an Advisor during all Board business. The Trust is a publicly-traded entity with the most recent quarterly Form 10-Q filings posted to the SEC website. To provide recovery funds to the victims of the Woodbridge scheme, the Wind Down Entity must complete the construction and resale of luxury estate-level properties, mostly located in the Los Angeles residential markets. G3 Group has undertaken significant efforts to participate in the Oversight and execution of Architectural Construction projects to maximize the recovery to the victims.

I am proud to have been appointed by the CVUSD Board of Education on May 19, 2020, to serve a 2-year term in service to the Independent Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee, tasked with ensuring proper expenditure of $197,000,000 in bond proceeds, as set forth in Proposition 39. During the General Election conducted on November 4, 2014, the citizens within the Conejo Valley Unified School District overwhelmingly voted in favor of Measure I, authorizing the District to upgrade/maintain Conejo Valley schools with funding that cannot be taken from the State. Measure I bond proceeds are to be used for the upgrade, maintenance and New Construction of Science/Career Training Labs, Classrooms, Facilities, Technology and Network Infrastructure to provide safe, well-maintained facilities for all Students and Staff.

One of three Members selected by United States Trustee, an Office of the US Department of Justice, to the Creditors' Committee in the Woodbridge Group of Companies LLC's chapter 11 bankruptcy filed in Delaware. Woodbridge, a web of over 150 related entities valued at up to $1.3Billion, was owned and controlled by its founder, Robert Shapiro, and operated as a real estate finance and development company that bought, improved and sold high-end luxury homes. To fund its operations, Woodbridge fraudulently raised over $1 Billion in capital through full-service real estate brokerages through which unregistered brokers solicited funds from individuals. The company and its founder faced multiple investigations by the SEC and state-regulatory agencies for the unlawful selling of securities that precipitated the company’s bankruptcy filing. Shortly after its appointment, the Committee filed a motion to appoint a chapter 11 trustee, which resulted in a global resolution by and among the debtors, the SEC and certain ad hoc committees representing defrauded investors. The Committee’s efforts caused, among other things, the resignation of the chief restructuring officer and independent manager hand-picked by the debtors’ founder on the eve of bankruptcy, the election of a new board of managers with the Committee’s direct input, and the stay of a receivership action initiated by the SEC to gain control over the company.

As recorded by Post Display Reports filed with the OSFM, I acted as Lead and Assistant Operator, as well as general Technician, on some of the largest outdoor fireworks displays in California. From the KGB Sky Show at Qualcomm Stadium, Sea World, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Pacific Symphony Orchestra at Irvine Amphitheatre, the City of Davis 4th of July (2006), City of Calabasas 4th of July (2007-2014), Irvine Amphitheatre, Calabasas High School (Graduation), Rio Mesa High School (Homecoming), Thousand Oaks High School (Homecoming), and the largest fireworks display ever produced on the West Coast; Super Saturday City Party in San Diego as part of Super Bowl XXXVII on January 25, 2003. While the work was thrilling and intrinsically rewarding, a steadfast vigilance was critical to returning the crew home safely from a high-risk work environment.

Primary oversight of multiple simultaneous projects with Construction Values between $2M and $20M+ each. The Work I was privileged to actively manage day-to-day for our Clients and their Professionals, included multiple Works featured on three covers of Architectural Digest. Significant best-in-the-industry challenges were met by our team during this time. Through this depth of experience, I am forever grateful to have been mentored by such an ethical and motivational leaders; the principals of GW. In particular, Mr. Scott Werker provided the mentor-ship of my professional career. Now in a different time, G3 Group continues to pursue pedigreed projects of the highest excellence in our field.

Primary oversight of administrative staff and financial Controller for luxury estate builder servicing West Los Angeles. During my time in this role, I managed the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable of over $100M through the Company. I learned detailed Project Accounting through rote continuous performance over many years. I continue to participate, today. The Project Accounting we perform at G3 has come a long way since I started. Today, G3 utilizes an online customizable database for Project Accounting of all Specifications, Owner Selections, Budget Tracking and Forecasting, RFI's, Submittals in addition to all Invoicing and Payments. All Project Files remain continuously downloadable and updated on G3's internal website for your review.

Multi-disciplinary first responder. Wildland and Urban Firefighting, Medical Aid, Technical Rescue, Traffic Collision, Vehicle Extrication, Hazardous Materials Ops and Confined Space Ops. In a short but busy season, I took as many assignments as possible; multi-week out-of-county wildfires + overtime shifts at urban stations on Class-A engines. While I never achieved the depth of experience of a professional/career firefighter, I am privileged to have served.

Design, millwork, fabrication and installation of cabinetry, windows, doors and mouldings. High-end residential in West LA. I was a practicing carpenter before a true builder. In my personal time, you will still find me outside working with tools. I hope to continue the pure joy of hands-on craftsmanship for the rest of my days.

Retail network administration, hardware systems analyst. Troubleshooting, parts replacement, software programming and training. Still a geek, with less fault tolerance.

Basic programming (C++ and CGI), systems hardware analyst. However, my parents would later define this as a turning point in my life. This collegiate internship, sponsored and administrated by the Department of Energy, was an incredible exposure. While reporting to assignments, all interns were actively encouraged to also spend as much time attending any talks, in any discipline. Simply being on campus at the Lab for a single Summer, surrounded by minds far greater than my own, humbled and inspired. I remain a great fan and follower of the current Sciences and Education.
