    This was my first trip out of the country. I was the on-site Agricultural Intern for a non-profit company that aided in sustainable farming and agriculture for local Haitians. Every day our team would hike up Mont Bellevue where we would study the design, soil, produce plants, water irrigation, and what was working and what needed improvement. My job was to take pictures and notes and then trasnfer this information to the website. I was able to fully immerse myself in the life of the Haitian people. The electricity was on 25% of the time. We took baths with freezing water that we fetched from the well on our compound. We employed two locals; one who was our security and one who cooked incredibly delicious meals and told us beautiful stories. This was one of the best experiences of my life and I hope to work for a non-profit or company that dives into helping and aiding like this company did.
