In this role, I was part of a scrappy, fast-paced startup team born out of Carnegie Mellon. As their 1st visual design hire/2nd ux hire, I helped to launch an award-winning ed-tech app - Revision Assistant. During this time, I owned visual design, further developed my UX research and interaction design skills as a co-contributor, and trained as a Product Owner with the ScrumAlliance. Revision Assistant ended up being highly successful. After its first few months in pilot (with Gates Foundation funding), the ed-tech giant Turnitin purchased the app for many millions of dollars. Years later, it remains one of Turnitin's top revenue earners in the product portfolio -- and is beloved by its users.

I worked collaboratively on a small agency creative team, pitched ideas directly to new and existing clientele, and was the lead designer on a website rebrand for a national IT consulting firm.Creator of brand vision and guides (strategy and ideation, brand guides, style guides), digital marketing deliverables (websites, videos, animations), as well as print, event, and installation. Go-to photo retoucher & image scout.

As the sole dedicated design support for this healthcare giant's national sales team, I worked under tight deadlines to support top sales reps for important meetings — introductory to finalist. My responsibilities included creation of branded style guides, animated video presentations, custom RFPs and proposals, event design [signage, swag, print collateral], web design, and other marketing materials. My design work directly contributed to Highmark acquiring one of its largest national contracts with a top food manufacturer.

Worked as an on site visiting designer to this small agency-style studio, leading creative direction and contributing to production on a number of projects. Designed and produced a national bid for a magazine contract and illustrated a children's book for both print and digital distribution.
