Creating Figma assets and documentation for the Haven component and pattern library. In the last year, I've collaborated with partners across product design and engineering to deliver a full version design update (over 100 components) to the Haven design system. This included delivering a revamped, extensible token library to accommodate product needs for Realtor and theming for new products and acquisitions. Updating our tokens exposed areas of opportunity to enhance color contrast, touch target sizing, animation speed, and typographic usability in both Web and Native. My daily tasks often include holding regular office hours with colleagues in design and engineering, communicating asynchronously to help system users understand and implement the design system in their product work, and researching the best UX and Accessible techniques for evolving system components and patterns.

I research, design, test, and document an enterprise library of reusable components that streamline efficiencies for creative teams across the company. BuildASign.com is a highly collaborative environment that required excellent on-the-spot problem solving and strategic design thinking at every level. My responsibilities included concepting and production for print, web and numerous integrated campaigns and promotions for our varied e-commerce brands. My daily tasks ran the gamut from designing online ads, email marketing promotions, curating brand-appropriate stock imagery, image editing and retouching, creating print advertising, and promotional signage, and collaborating with front end developers to create elegant, functional web design with the end user in mind. Every project was an opportunity to enhance the voice of our core brand (BuildASign.com) and build a quality experience for our newer consumer brands, EasyCanvasPrints.com and Printcopia.com. Additional duties included wireframing, creating site mock-ups, organizing web design files for development, collaborating on successful email and social media marketing campaigns, file production and pre-flighting, occasional copywriting and editing, and working with printers on presschecks for the final push to project completion.

Independent and collaborative design concepting for print publications, logos/identity, packaging, menus and front-end web design. Worked closely with the associate partner and senior designer on magazines, books, identity and collateral.I was also responsible for maintaining an inventory of supplies, placing and fulfilling orders for Pentagram publications, compiling content for a variety of design initiatives, photographing printed pieces, and digitally archiving projects.

Collaborated with senior designers and art directors to deliver original and ancillary promotional materials and publications which were consistent with existing brand initiatives.

Collaboratively and independently designed advertising, signage, banners, packaging, direct mail and online advertising. I also worked closely with senior designers to deliver advertising and promotional materials which upheld existing graphic standards for such clients as Whataburger, Shiner Beer, and Frost Bank.

Lab maintenance- logging computer reports, malfunctions; this job required that I have a working knowledge of Adobe CS software so that I could assist students who were just learning. I also provided some creative direction when needed.

While at Sibley Peteet I was responsible for assisting with general production and design needs, participating in design strategy meetings and portfolio reviews, shadowing, image research, and some general clerical duties including filing and organization.
