Lead the development of the organization’s first ever Life After Cancer Program, which involved managing the planning, creation, implementation and evaluation of a suite of resources. Managed the revamp of the organization’s peer support program, including re-branding the program to increase accessibility and implementing targeted improvements suggested by past participants.

Acted as primary contact for Quality Improvement teams at 13 Regional Renal Programs across Ontario, supporting local initiatives aimed at increasing living donor kidney transplant rates. This included managing the implementation of a provincial strategy aimed at increasing the rate of living kidney donation in Ontario by 20% by 2021, including initiatives related to education, data and transplant ambassadors.

Accomplishments: • Developed a parent support network program to connect parents/caregivers of newly diagnosed children with more experienced CF parents/caregivers for the purpose of accessing emotional and instrumental support; this program has the potential to reach over 1600 families. • Managed the Newborn Resource Kit program, which provides kits of medical supplies and information to families of newly diagnosed babies across Canada; 200 kits sourced, assembled and delivered to paediatric clinics across the country for 2017-2019. • Accreditation Site Visit program reviewer at 42 cystic fibrosis clinics across Canada, with 4-5 site visits per year, ensuring delivery of quality care. • Identified gold standard tool to support smooth transitions from paediatric to adult care for CF patients; modified this American tool for a Canadian context in collaboration with healthcare professionals across the country; prepared roll-out. • Article published in peer reviewed Journal of Cystic Fibrosis in December 2016, Environmental Scan of Cystic Fibrosis Research Worldwide.
