I am a highly motivated leader, with over 20 years of rich and diverse experiences in Sales, Marketing and General Management roles; across start-up, turn-around, transformational, and high-growth organisations. I began my career in Content Development: writing, producing and directing content for TV and Radio. I spent subsequent years in local and regional roles, across the Media and Entertainment industries. Today, I am the CEO of Clear Channel Singapore, a division of Clear Channel Outdoor – the global leader in out-of-home (OOH) advertising. I was first its Marketing Director, then its Sales & Marketing Director. I have been the CEO for the last 10 years. I lead the business with an entrepreneurial spirit, and by harnessing the commercial opportunities of digitisation and technology. At Clear Channel Singapore, we pride ourselves in making OOH scientific: data-led, fact-based, and insight-driven.I am also a Strategic Advisor at The Simple Sum, a Singapore-found financial literacy start-up for the youth – advising its founder and operating team on strategy, go-to-market (GTM) execution and fund-raising. I have a strong reputation as a leader, known for building high-performance and motivated teams. My passion for the people in a business, has led me to academia: I am also a doctoral researcher on Organisational Behaviour. I am a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Faculty of Business, Government and Law at the University of Canberra, pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), with a research focus on Organisational Behaviour, specifically in Leadership, Burnout, Vulnerability and Authenticity. I submitted my doctoral thesis in April 2024 and I look forward to being conferred later this year.I graduated with an MSc in Marketing from the University College of Dublin, National University of Ireland; and a BA in Communication and Media Management from the University of South Australia. In addition, I attained course certification in (1) Creating High Performance Teams, and (2) Transformational Leadership from Judge Business School, Cambridge University; (3) Strategy & Leadership from Ashridge Business School - from the UK; and (4) Accounting Management from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
