I’m an artist-writer and graphic recorder fluent in “Geek-ese.” My specialty is transforming complex, jargon-heavy content from tech, marketing, and beyond into sketch notes and hand-drawn, memorable whiteboard videos.What exactly is a graphic recorder? You might’ve heard terms like scribe, whiteboard artist, meeting illustrator, or visual notetaker. No matter what you call it, my approach is the same: I combine deep listening with quick synthesis to create whimsical, real-time visuals that enhance learning, memory, and engagement.For the past eight years, as the principal artist at Kingman Ink, I’ve captured the key ideas from hundreds of keynotes, panels, webinars, and brainstorming sessions at conferences and events. Some of my clients include GE, SAP NS2, Salesforce, JetBlue, and Goldman Sachs, along with organizations like the United Nations and various NGOs.When I’m not creating graphic recordings or animated videos, I’m teaching workshops to help “non-artists” master visual communication using my Whiteboard Black Belt™ framework.
