I track and surface consumer pain points and drive resolution of patient issues to align to brand for one of the nation's leading healthcare providers.

I supported brand development and federal contract pursuits for the largest driver of R&D innovation annually in the nation.

There was no formal communication function when I arrived at this EC&M magazine U.S. Top 10 Electrical Design Firm. Recognizing the need, I lobbied for approval to establish processes and procedures, began crafting executive communications, and launched the firm's social media presence on top of my existing Business Development - Technical Editor responsibilities. From 2012 to 2014, I chaired the firm's social responsibility and employee engagement committee, In this role, I also led the firm's 25th Anniversary event programming. In 2015, I played a key role in developing the firm's new Vision and Guiding Principles, co-created and produced the corporate launch of that initiative, and designed the long-term engagement plan. For this, I was awarded the Board of Directors' Vision Award. I focus on Management and Organizational Communication, while still inputting into Marketing Communication. Since 2016, I've played a key role in our corporate re-branding. In addition, I direct the editorial calendar, manage digital signage and intranet content, and collaborate with and manage vendors on production of corporate videos and live events. As a member of the firm's ELT, I advised on branding, change management, strategic planning, organizational design, leadership development, succession, and more.

Consulted on/contributed to corporate strategy; developed strategy and messaging for CRM system; worked with outside vendors on marketing materials, web development, list development, and marketing campaigns; handled video script writing and assisted in production; conducted research for product and market development, and wrote book marketing plan. Used by America's top companies, The 12 Week Year system, based on The New York Times bestseller, has helped tens of thousands of individuals reach goals in the areas of sales, personal finances, work/life balance, health and fitness, and time freedom.

Assisted clients, including a U.S. congressional candidate, with research, strategic planning, branding, message development, web development, fundraising, staffing and training, coalition building, social media community building and management, reputation management, media consulting, organization development, crisis management, navigation of endorsements, client representation, negotiations, public speaking and image coaching, and more.

Responsible for planning, budgeting, staffing, and managing three internal programs: Coalitions, Election Day Operations, and Absentee Voting. As part of the RNC Victory structure, led the statewide Election Day legal team in 83 counties, including recruitment, training, and assignment of program participants and briefing of national legal team leadership. Overhauled statewide Election Day volunteer training program by developing and producing online modules, eliminating barriers to participation and cutting costs. The new program was promoted as a national model and used to train election officials in an emerging democracy, Ghana, in anticipation of their presidential election. Brought in to manage the launch of the Michigan Cyber Safety Initiative (Michigan CSI). Led a talented team of 10-12 professional educators who served as presenters and staff under the umbrella of the Consumer Protection Division until I was recruited for an external opportunity I simply could not pass up.

As a natural outgrowth of my previous work, was brought on to help birth a revival of this organization. Consulted on all aspects of the organization, including, but not limited to structure, leadership recruitment, fundraising, event planning, messaging, PR, outreach, and advocacy efforts.

Worked with the leadership of statewide trade associations, issue advocacy organizations, and other grassroots leaders to effectively represent the candidate's positions, establish common ground, and mobilize their membership to bring their resources to bear on behalf of the candidate. Advised and assisted in the management of regional field staff, created coalition-specific web content, organized coalition-based events, navigated organizational endorsement processes, and participated in other field activities, as needed.

Directed fundraising, policy review and redrafting, counseling, internal and external communications (including web content, quarterly newsletter, and grant writing), volunteer and internship recruitment, scheduling, and management; assisted with educational programming; monitored inventory. Presenter to numerous groups/organizations. At the Board's request, I redrafted the organization's By-Laws.

I learned about delighting clients and crushing sales goals in prestige cosmetics from one of the top cosmetic companies in the world. I built relationships, listened to client goals, matched goals with products and processes to achieve those goals and meet clients' time and cost requirements. Educated clients about product features and benefits, instructed clients in product application, consulted with clients on colors and other preferences, suggested add-ons, managed stock, and communicated promotions via direct mail or calls to increase customer loyalty and drive repeat and referral business. Received multiple financial awards from management based on outstanding voluntary client feedback.
