My career took a bit of a left turn about a decade ago and I switched from primarily software to primarily woodworking. I still use a lot of my computer skills doing this job. From programming laser cutters and devising labor saving devices, processes and tools to doing my own accounting. I really enjoy building new tools and hope to have something on kickstarter some day. While I enjoy the woodworking very much and am doing well with it, it was initially a response to the rampant ageism I was running into in software. Now though, we're making more money than I ever did with computer software (even though I believe I was very successful at that) and I couldn't be more pleased. My primary customer has recently challenged me to acquire a second customer and I think that it is time that we started to do that. Our specialty is building small wooden parts, on the order of 5"x5"x5" or less in large quantities. We use specialty automation and are open to extensive automating to make your part for less and at higher quality. We have a great workforce, and are very interested in exploring ideas. If you have a wood product that you need THOUSANDS of, then we're the team for you. Unfortunately, we cannot entertain projects in smaller numbers, but we're REALLY good at keeping those prices down. We currently make nearly a quarter million items per month for our primary customer. Needless to say, we're making them a lot of money. Let's see if we can do the same for you.
