My job responsibilities include verifying raw materials and outside processors meet customer requirements and issuing Requests for Quotes to vendors with appropriate information. This role also involves reviewing quotes for competitive prices and lead times, obtaining approval for purchase orders, and monitoring vendor quality and on-time delivery. Additional tasks include preparing operation sheets using CATIA, Inventor, and AutoCAD, taking inventory of hardware and raw materials, and implementing design changes as required.

Within a team and individually, I had the oppurtunity to work on several projects for TMR which are described below.I am currently designing and 3D modelling a differential wrist joint for the rover. This project aims to enhance the rover's capabilities, thus increasing our likelyhood of securing victoring in the annual University Rover Challenge (URC).I previously designed and assembled a drivetrain for a full-size trolley. Utilizing existing materials and tools within the shop, over $1000 was saved on this project. Its aim is to maneuver the rover around the school, ensuring the preservation of its components.I also had the oppurtunity to design and 3D model a3D printed Sumobot to demonstrate my mechanical proficiency and SolidWorks abilities.

I took the initiative to manage multiple client projects, both independently and in a team environment. After using design softwares such as AutoCAD, I was able to bring my tailored designs to life using a CNC laser cutting machine and assembly tools.One of these projects included designing an ergonomic bench with a fellow student. The backrest was designed using AutoCAD and the CNC machine applied the design by laser cutting a metal plate. The bench was then assembled by utilizing welding techniques and tools within the workshop.
