I am a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the Family Law Certification Board since October 2002. I am also trained in Collaborative Practice, Parenting Coordination and Family Law Mediation, which allows me to focus my practice on helping families through the trials of divorce with as little conflict as possible.I help people resolve custody and parenting time disputes, and to fairly value and divide assets and debts in a divorce. I also help people with adoptions, guardianships, grandparent visitation orders or paternity orders. I work as a mediator to aid families in resolving their conflicts without resorting to litigation. I work closely with clients, evaluation experts and accountants to determine values of business or personal assets and a find a method of fairly dividing them in divorce. I am a member of the Family Law Certification Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association, which oversees the testing and certification of family law specialists in the State of Indiana. I also participated in the Pro Bono Mediation Task Force, which made recommendations regarding the use of mediation in cases where parties do not have attorneys.Helping families; protecting their futures.
