The Sport for Development Coalition is a movement of organisations working to maximise the positive social impact of sport and physical activity.Co-ordinating engagement and consultation with Coalition supporters and sector stakeholders, as well as supporting the delivery of events and activities that contribute to the SFDC’s advocacy. Additionally, Supporting on the impact pillar of the Coalition’s business plan through the collation of data, research and resources to assist Sport for Development organisations in demonstrating their impact.

inFocus is a social impact consultancy firm supporting partners to improve lives and transform communities worldwide. I work alongside a team of Learning and Evaluation specialists who guide programmes and projects to success. We aid in the development and evaluation of high performance social programmes within real-world contexts that will help transform lives and communities and use what is learnt to inform future good practice.

Alongside my studies I volunteer at Snow-Camp working within the head office. My role is concerned with engaging and supporting individual fundraisers as well as supporting the Snowsports Community Manager.

Occasional work through the hockey season as a county assistant coach. In this role I help to plan and deliver on pitch hockey sessions as well as off pitch classroom sessions. The classroom sessions have a tactical game focus as well as holistic development. I also organise the team on match days, preparing and ensuring player welfare for each fixture.

After completing a 3 month placement at Inspiring Learning for my University Undergraduate degree, I worked as the Customer Service Manager. My main responsibility was to ensure a high level of customer service across all of Inspiring Learning’s brands. I also reported on all types of customer feedback primarily using Microsoft office and CRM systems to achieve this. For example I present customer satisfaction scores from all trips in an excel format to create graphs which delivery management can use to implement changes, to further customer focus within the company.

French Alps

Over the winter ski season I worked as general assistant in STG’s club hotel in Serre Chevalier in France. Responsibilities included; housekeeping, waitressing assisting in running activities alongside the hotel reps.
