One of 8 employees selected from across Intel to volunteer at the annual Women in Science (WiSci) STEAM Camp. Developed and taught workshops focusing on: - Autonomous Driving with a Curie Robot- Artificial Intelligence with the Movidius Compute Stick- Renewable Energy with SparkFun Wind Power and the Science Journal app- Design Thinking to learn altruistic and empathetic engineeringThis camp was free to 100 high school girls from across Africa and the U.S. and was directed in partnership with World Learning, U.S. Department of State, UN Foundation's Girl Up, Intel Corporation, Google, and NASA. Develop and maintain plugins for the framework to collect and publish metric data. Write quality code and unit tests in Golang.• Developed first streaming collector plugin to enable ability to publish data immediately• Developed V2 API framework for which our new API client was built upon, providing simplified, faster connections and reducing unnecessary dependencies• Suggested process and documentation improvements to increase adoptability for new users

Designed fun, engaging, educational curriculum for middle schoolers interested in computer science. Co-taught classes of up to 20 middle schoolers. Identified problems and refined curriculum plans each week. Computer Chicks was an all girls camp where we taught computer science basics. In addition to the curriculum created for Intro CS camp, we discussed the importance of women in STEM and had the students identify what they can bring to a male dominated group.Curriculum included: Lego Mindstorms, Scratch, card games, cipher activities, identifying patterns and other CS Unplugged activities.
