- Serves as front desk receptionist; fielding all phone calls for the office, welcoming visitors, and providing tourist information- Manages the retail space, tracks inventory, and handles point-of-sale transactions- Welcomes new businesses to the district and connects them with Downtown SLO services- Maintains membership database and tracks the downtown store-front vacancy rate on a monthly basis- Conducts member outreach and education, including but not limited to, monthly member newsletters, participation in Downtown SLO events and programs, Board of Directors and committee participation, and fielding any questions or concerns- Coordinates agendas, calendar invites, presentations from guests and partners, and takes meeting minutes for all Downtown SLO committees - Manages the Voluntary Membership program; identifies new members and ensures invoices are paid promptly- Coordinates volunteers for all Downtown SLO programs, including but not limited to, Clean Up Days, the Holiday Parade, Santa’s House, Concerts in the Plaza, and Sip ‘n’ Saunter- Assists with boots-on-the-ground assistance at all Downtown SLO programs and events- Assists with Board of Directors elections ensuring all members receive a ballot and coordinating all necessary candidate information to be added to the voting system

- Responsible for sourcing and booking top-tier talent for special events, workshops and trainings for the full calendar year - Analyze historical data and keep up-to-date with the cutting edge of the wellness and meditation industry to create unique, transformative and highly-demanded events- Planning and executing all marketing efforts related to special events- Ensure that each guest is fully prepared for their event by providing any necessary technology testing or training (for virtual events), creating marketing collateral to assist them in event promotion and sending + ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed on time- Direct and oversee the creation, promotion, execution and all other relevant details for over 100 special events, classes, workshops and trainings each year - Assist and contribute to all other Unplug Meditation departments including: front desk assistance, planning episodes for The Unplug Podcast, answering Unplug App Support emails, administrative assistance for the Unplug Corporate Meditation Program, and more

As a part of my curriculum at Cal Poly I was given the opportunity to consult and present on multiple marketing projects for a number of real-world clients. See project section for details.

I had the honor of working as a marketing strategist for up and coming local music festival, Shabang. The marketing team and I worked to grow awareness for the festival around San Luis Obispo and beyond. We organized volunteers for the event, charity days, hosted promotional events, and worked to make the Shabang name an integral part of the San Luis Obispo community. For the 2019 event, I was also given the role of non-attendee entrance coordinator. On the day of the event I lead a group of volunteers in checking in guest list attendees and vendors.

Following my summer internship I chose to further explore my passion for marketing and music by joining my university radio station. As a member of their marketing team I worked to spread awareness, promote on and off campus events, and maintain the overall brand image of the station. This position challenged me to come up with creative marketing solutions to help promote radio listening in the era of music streaming.

My time at Collective Effort Events was my first experience in a marketing position upon arriving at college. I worked to promote local events through social media and displaying and handing out promotional materials. As an intern I was able to work at the events themselves, ticketing or selling merchandise. This position taught me about the basics of event marketing and promotion and gave me a chance to be a part of San Luis Obispo's growing music scene.

As my desire to one day work in the music industry grew, I applied and was accepted into the Artist Management Internship program at Red Light Management. I worked closely with different management teams helping with tasks like planning travel itineraries and drafting and scheduling social media posts. This internship taught me a lot about the fast paced environment of the music industry and gave me experience in the many aspects of management.
