I'm working the transition. Professional journalism is morphing into something new. We, the citizens of democratic nations, need professional journalism to survive. I'm focused on helping that happen. And I won't begin to suggest that I know how this all ends. However, we can see that many newspapers and magazines are going to continue to contract and some will go away. And social media will continue to dominate our news consumption. In my work, whether it's with traditional journalists, sports journalists, bloggers, educators, people who work around the fringes of journalism like advocates and PR representatives, I help them see exactly how their world has changed, adopt new tools and work habits to be effective and dream of a new future.
