Responsible for the design and first year implementation of Te Mana o Te Wai funded project Me He Wai. A nation leading project connecting people and place with local and central government to implement new environmental policy. Me He Wai 'Be like water' is a Te Mana o Te Wai funded project running through to 2025. The primary objective is to build capacity and capability for tangata whenua to make decisions for freshwater, and to improve the health of freshwater bodies of importance to tangata whenua.- Elevating the aspirations and values of tangata whenua by translating them into regulatory planning. - Building connection and understanding through monitoring.- Building a digital interface to support understanding of the surrounding taiao (environment) and inform decision making, and including Data Sovereignty. - Supporting the design and implementation of hapu lead freshwater restoration projects within the Te Rarawa rohe.

A Project Manager in the Kahutia-a-nuku Afforestation Hub, connecting landowners to funding for environmental outcomes. Building programmes to build capability and capacity at hapū and marae (community) level to engage and manage their own taiao (environment).

CEBC - Community Business and Environment Centre is a Community Enterprise, with business activity across a broad range of sectors. My mother was a founding board member, and when we returned to Te Tai Tokerau in 2017 I wanted to get my roots into the community, connect with like minded people, and contribute to a kaupapa I believe in. Joining the Raglan / Whaingaroa community board in a bi election, alongside Lisa Thomson (Current Raglan Ward Councillor) was a blast. Under the guidance of the great Bob McCloud, we revitalised the role of the community board, and the community plan Raglan Naturally. Due to our family moving, I stepped down at the election the following year, but continued on as the original co-ordinator for Raglan Naturally until our departure in October 2017. ---------------The project was originally facilitated by the Raglan Naturally Committee, a sub-committee of the Raglan community board, with support from Tangata Whenua, Waikato District Council and other key stakeholders. From 2017-2020 Raglan Naturally’s focus on was on building relationships, understanding what we value, aligning aspirations, and setting a foundation for the way we work together with iwi and hapū and the community. Through a combined effort, from a diverse team of volunteers, we revitalised our community plan.

A restructure at Xtreme Zero Waste (upcycled name!), facilitated a move to a role as an external contractor. This allowed me to continue to be involved with a wonderful Community Enterprise, whilst opening up my time for other projects. Currently involved with - branding- web design- photography- social media- volunteering on a community website (writing, design).
