The mission of the Women's Fund of RI is to invest in women & girls in our community through research, advocacy, grant making and strategic partnerships designed to achieve gender equity through systematic change. As the face of the organization and its chief administrator, I am responsible for leading our research and advocacy efforts, brokering strategic partnerships, fundraising, board & volunteer development and fiscal management. Since arriving in 2016, I have trained hundreds of women in salary negotiation skills and advocating for impact; advocated for and negotiated legislation to pass the Earned Sick Time bill, Reproductive Privacy Act and Fair Pay Act; increased organizational fundraising by nearly 54% each year and brought in several new major and planned giving donors.
