As a ThreeSixty Journalist, I worked alongside writing coaches to develop essays and reporting skills. Learning from journalists, reporters and the Associated Press, I developed stories aimed at connecting with my community to become more confident and at ease with my curiosity, by giving a voice to those who are absent. My stories were published in the ThreeSixty magazine, the StarTribune, and the Pioneer Press.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

As a Youthrive cabinet member, I worked alongside youth facilitating leadership skills and volunteering. Part of my role as a cabinet member was to create an iBook utilizing iTunes university to promote peace-building, strategies for action with service learning, and highlighting the life and work of a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. Additionally, each year Youthrive partners with Augsburg University to host a youth forum to showcase service-learning projects and promote Being The Change, directly from Nobel Peace Prize Laureates.
