As a Project Manager my responsibilities include cost and schedule forecasting, subcontractor and owner pricing review/negotiations, continuous monitoring of the budget relative to our project GMP, being the day-to-day liaison of the project team to both clients and subcontractors, and problem solving as issues arise throughout the course of typical construction activities. My project experience includes healthcare/laboratory renovations, ground-up cGMP facilities, and data centers. My clients include both federal/government agencies and private entities.

My responsibilities as an Assistant Project Manager were to help keep our team focused on our task of constructing a variety of facilities for our client. This includes subcontract negotiation and buyout, coordination between subcontractors and designers (RFI's, unforeseen field conditions, etc.), forecasting and cost control, baseline schedule updates and monitoring of progress, anticipating the needs of our client and facilitating any means of addressing them early on, as well as oversight of self-performed work. Additionally I am pleased to help mentor and advise younger and newer members to our team as to internal procedures and policies, lessons learned, and my own personal best work practices that I have developed over time in the industry.My work experience as an Assistant Project Manager encompassed mainly Federal installations such as projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers (Ft. Lewis, Ft. Bragg, Ft. Stewart, and Ft. Leonard Wood), as well as Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) at Naval Base Kistap, Bangor.

As Project Engineer, I was tasked with daily monitoring of build-out and punch list activities and progress reporting to the Project Manager. I helped to optimize in-field processes to maintain and, in some cases, improve schedule dates for key activities. I assisted with Quality Control responsibilities such as in-wall inspections, ceiling close-in inspections, spec and drawing review, and submittal review to ensure compliance with Contract requirements.Other responsibilities include subcontract buyout, assisting in change order negotiation, mitigation of schedule impacts, and successful closeout of both subcontracts and Prime contract.My work experience and a Project Engineer includes both Federal installations (US Army Corps of Engineers) as well as private installations such as a 47-story highrise apartment building.
