Managed the systems and processes for planning, organizing, and staffing small groups and other events for a 10-member Family Ministry staff, in a congregation serving over 1,000 registered children, youth, and families. Collected and organized information and created data-driven reports using online and paper small group and event registrations, payments/refunds, volunteer applications, and background checks. Scheduled weekly small groups and events, and staff meetings, on behalf of department directors. Coordinated volunteers, scheduled room set-ups/media requests, ordered supplies and served as project manager for the team. Advocated for immersion education, charter schools, and education reform, at the first Chinese immersion public charter school in the United States. Welcomed and assisted families, teachers, volunteers, students, prospective students/parents, media and guests. Organized and helped manage the application and enrollment process; daily attendance; confidential student records; parent-teacher conferences; parent and community volunteers; student financial accounts for POS lunch, enrichment and extended care; student and school data for the Minnesota Department of Education, as the acting MAARS coordinator; and PowerSchool, a web-based student information system.
