I create curriculum activities, centers, and packets based on the elementary Common Core State Standards.

My husband and I run a Facebook Live show where people can pick out jewelry settings and we shuck oysters to see what color(s) will go in their setting. We answer customer questions, address concerns, and take care of the finances for our business called, "Simply Pearls with K&J."

Forsyth Woods Elementary

At Forsyth Woods Elementary I have taught first grade for two years and second grade for two years. I have been rated highly effective for two years, been team leader, currently coach the dance team, worked with PTA to create a school carnival, completed mentor certification, and was nominated for teacher of the year. We have utilized programs such as, Lexia, Journey's, GoMath, IReady, Progressbook, Class Dojo, and many more.

Three Points Elementary School

During my time at Three Points Elementary, I taught fourth grade for one year and second grade for two years. I was a member of the PTA, reading leadership team, and CHEER. I had the opportunity to coach the dance team, put together a writing day called "Writing Junction," and helped plan field trips for the team.

Orlando, Florida

As an extended day group leader I was able to work with kids from kindergarten to fifth grade. I planned summer camp activities, schedules, field trips, and fulfilled many office duties.
