I worked in a first grade classroom supervising the students, helping the students with their work, and answering any questions they had. I also assisted the teacher in prepping materials for lesson plans and activities. Additionally, I would help out in a neighboring classroom for recess duty while my class had lunch. I interned in the classroom every other week during the mentioned time period. When I was not in the first grade classroom, I was teaching and assisting in the Tiger Tots preschool in my high school, Taunton High School, as a part of the Childcare program I completed.
