It means the difference between success and failure.When I was in college, I didn't know myself very well. I grew up in my mother's shadow. But at 21 years old, I made a promise to myself. I committed to doing whatever I needed to do to learn about myself. Over the next 20 years, I explored straw bale building, forestry, religion, working with children, and much more. I began to notice a particular pattern in all my experiences. There was one thing that stood out. I always needed more money. I was always broke. I lived in my vehicle twice so I could travel. But by the end of my self-exploration adventure, I was tired. Tired of struggling. I decided I needed to figure out the money thing. Until then, I only cared about experiencing life and ignored money. My second phase of self-exploration led me to study finance, accounting, investing, and my personal beliefs about wealth. After much journaling, I realized I had negative thoughts about money. If I didn't learn how to overcome my limiting beliefs, I would always be broke.Gradually I began changing my thinking. I became an accountant and eventually found Bitcoin. Because I had taken the time to learn who I was, when Bitcoin showed up in my life, I was ready.
