Started as a blogging side hustle, Kreativ Energy has grown into a full-time consultancy in journalism, analysis, and marketing and media. At Amalgam Insights, run by the uber-talented Hyoun Park, I covered the business value of implementing and managing technologies; this approach includes vendors, processes and best practices. I helped enterprises, small and medium businesses, and other end-user organizations understand the tools at their disposal, and the ways in which they can improve finances and operations. Now I’ve stepped away from AI, with Park’s kind support, to bring in more projects that revolve around the subjects noted in Kreativ Energy’s description, particularly as I pursue my Master of Science in Human Nutrition.

Helped enterprises and vendors continue to evolve their approaches to telecom, mobility and technology management. Key achievements include vendors purchasing research content specifically to work with me; steering the research group into new coverage areas; and earning multiple internal and social media awards, kudos, and recognition throughout my AOTMP tenure.

The work I performed in this role ranged from technical to creative. The engineering department designs and builds large, automated mail-order pharmacies; I documented the various processes, projects and achievements. Highlights included creating and designing all content for the engineering division’s first-ever newsletters for senior executives; and scripting and voicing the engineering division’s first-ever narrated videos for senior executives and CEO.

The connected world is changing health care -- think the artificial pancreas or the non-invasive heart monitoring patch. Health care professionals, from doctors and nurses to IT and billing staff, all need to understand the practical impact of such devices on their practices and their patients. PTMD aims to cover this rapidly developing sector through in-depth reports, digital summits, case studies, analysis and video. As senior editor of PersonalTech MD, I decided and wrote the bulk of the editorial coverage. Under that tenure, PTMD won the prestigious 2015 FOLIO: Magazine Eddies Digital award in B2B health care/medical/nursing websites, putting our publication in league with Harvard Business Review, Meredith Corp., POLITICO, National Geographic Traveler, Sierra Club and Time Inc.

As senior editor of Channel Partners, I proved an integral, strategic part of a small editorial team that produced what I would argue is the most comprehensive, compelling and informative content for the indirect channel. This coverage was disseminated through our website, print magazine, special reports, digital issues and, of course, our ever-larger Spring Channel Partners Conference & Expo and Fall Cloud Partners Conference & Expo. I am not a techie by any stretch, nor do I care to be; my strengths lay in understanding and writing about partners’ business models and ongoing transformations; contractual and compensation concerns; challenges and best practices; the impact of provider and vendor M&A; and more. I was able to write about these issues from both a telecom and IT perspective, because the topics transcend technology. You will find most of my bylined work online. Thanks to my Associated Press and university newspaper days, I remain, above all, a news and analysis hound. However, you also still can see me on camera, interviewing key channel personnel or talking about changes partners need to digest. Plus, I moderated panels at our bi-annual conferences; wrote articles for the print version of Channel Partners; served as a judge for our unique awards programs; covered important industry events, often in-person; contributed to and often oversaw special projects; and, among other responsibilities, fielded blogs and case studies.

I covered all things business and regulatory in the telecom world as new technologies put business models in flux, and an economy forced new strategies and created an ever-changing regulatory environment. General sectors included competitive local exchange carriers, incumbent providers, and cable and wireless operators.
