I was responsible for servicing small business and personal lines accounts already on the books as well as producing new accounts. Midway in my tenure, I was also asked to take on system administration, which included setting employees up on our software systems, training them on insurance company quoting platforms, maintaining company cell phone accounts and phone systems, and maintaining our server backups.

When I joined the company, personal lines policies for the state of Michigan were being consolidated into this office, and I was part of a call-center team for this project. Soon promoted to the Commercial Small Business Unit, responsible for “house accounts” which were accounts with less than $5K in commission to the agency that did not have an assigned agent. Worked with personal and commercial clients for Property and Casualty insurance including Commercial Package, BOP, Worker’s Compensation, Umbrella, Inland Marine, Flood, Homeowners, Auto and brokered business.
