Summary:1. I started my career as a Practitioner veterinary responsible of the animal health for many species of animals (cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, camels ...). The herds were in different farms distributed in different regions of the Tunisian State.My employer is “Office des Terres Domaniales” employs about 5000 people and has approximately 176,000 ha; 6000 of productive cows; 30,000 sheep and goat productive animals; 400,000 layers and produces 1,500 tons of chicken meat . ..Work in this institution had allowed me:- Large experience in animal health management.- Significant experience in managing herds and quality control products.- I have done experiments on food rations for different animal species to improve production, control cost and use alternative foods. - Follow-up of cattle and sheep breeding and improvement of the various reproductive parameters.- Successful testing was done in bovine embryo transfer.- A sperm from bovine meat breed was used on local breed cows and low milk production cows in order to obtain a high yield of meat.- I established a quality control system (HACCP) in the poultry slaughterhouse and in the milk production.- Technical audit of farms was done and necessary corrections to improve technical parameters were provided.2. 12 years after this work I was responsible for the management of health and animal production with the following achievements:- Coordinated the work of 9 veterinarians in charge of animal health and obtained contagious-status free of the various herds. - Established a genetic improvement program in cattle and sheep.- Improve of Animal production-I achieved guides of good practices for cattle, sheep and poultry and guides for biosecurity for the same species. 3. From 2012 Till now I moved to work in U.A.E. with the Ministry of environment and water in animal health and development department and actually in Dubai Airport quarantine.
