Kelo is an early-career professional with a multidisciplinary background spanning engineering, sustainability, and science policy. Currently a Net Zero Consultant at Mott MacDonald, specialising in the built environment and large-scale decarbonisation projects. He supports the development of technical solutions and energy strategies to help cities and the buildings and infrastructure sector meet governmental and local net-zero targets.With over four years of experience engaging with UN processes on climate change, Kelo has actively participated in multilateral climate change negotiations and multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs). His roles have included serving on the UNFCCC Technology Executive Committee (TEC) activity group on Long-term Technological Transition and National Systems of Innovation (NSI).
