During my years at Swinburne I have completed numerous projects and acquired many of the skills that would be suitable for any company, from projects such as the Engineers Without Borders group project in first year, to units like Introduction to Programming & Technical Software Development where in I learnt to code in C/C++. I find that the challenge of providing innovative solutions with short lead times deeply motivates me to work hard and through my previous experiences I have found that I am a good team worker who values communication and focuses on hitting deadlines and quality targets.For my second semester at Swinburne (first year) I studied overseas at the Swinburne Sarawak campus, which exposed me to multiple cultural differences and cultivated my personal independence and problem-solving abilities. Currently I work casually at the Greensborough Hotel, where I spend my shifts in either the attached bottleshop or the main bar, where I am constantly dealing with customers and as such understand the importance of fast, accurate and high-quality customer service. I am a second-dan black belt in Karate, which has helped develop personal discipline and clarity of mind as well as keeping me physically fit. To achieve this level within the martial art has required many years of focus and dedication.
