As Manager of Information Systems, I was responsible for the design and development of all in-house systems. I supported office staff, designers and production artists on a daily basis. Training of staff on new systems. I was involved with production art and digital imaging on an overload basis and repaired problem files.

As Senior Dynamic Media Designer, I designed and produced interactive presentations for company use as well as presentations and video productions for Davis clients. Team building at Davis is on a project by project basis and several large projects required me to build and lead teams from design through project delivery, either with a creative director or working directly with the client.Select clients include: Avery Dennison, Energizer, Ford of Canada, Kraft, Quaker, Unilever-Lipton, Pfizer/Warner-Lambert.

Pi Media is a full service design, photography and production facility, specializing in retail advertising. With 175 employees operating on a 6 day, 24 hour schedule, high systems availability was key. As part of the Information Technologies Team, I was responsible for the care of over 50 Macintosh workstations, Barco and Contex workstations and the SUN based server systems running Helios and Digital Asset Management software. I was involved in the planning, implementation and maintenance of the production systems. I was specifically responsible for the integration and implementation of the Macintosh colour production systems with digital colour proofing systems to compliment the film systems. I participated in the installation of large format imagesetting systems and R&D efforts with Kodak and Screen on chemical free imagesetting systems. I organized the design & production team responsible for development of in-house presentations.As Dynamic Media Manager, I selected and managed the design and production team responsible for development of in-house seminars and presentations. Blumer-LeVon was a Graphic Arts Supply Retailer and an Apple VAR to the graphic arts industry. They sold and supported any technology that a graphic or production artist required. I provided consultation to clients on their systems needs, provided equipment demonstrations, workflow and production planning, training and troubleshooting. I researched specific needs for clients and did general research and testing to help maintain Blumer-LeVon's leadership in the market. As Manager of Eastern Exposures, the service bureau at Blumer- LeVon, I used cutting edge equipment we had invested in to provide a practical demonstration of what we sold. I provided timely and accurate scanning, digital imaging, imagesetting and digital proofing for clients and prospective equipment buyers.Select clients include:Addison Wesley Publishers, Bata Shoes, Global Television, Thorn Press.

As Principal Trainer, I developed and taught courses ranging from specific software and hardware, to colour theory and reproduction. I taught a wide range of clients, from government and the private sector, as well as other trainers and staff.
