I have been a MHA at Rivendell Behavioral Health Hospital for almost two years now. It has allowed me to maintain paperwork and file records of past/present patients and customers. To provide great customer/patient care and services. Also to practice skills of deescalation, patience, processing, and coping mechanisms. I have also Interned at the USDA Food Animal Environmental System Research in Bowling Green, KY which allowed me to gain experience in learning equipment both in the lab and in the field. Proper laboratory precautions and skills to use. Also techniques on how to obtain soil samples in the field and then how to process them in the lab. I have performed several soil testing, soil sampling, and core extractions. I have been a CNA at Bluegrass Senior Living in Campbellsville, KY for 5 years. It has allowed for providing care and assistants to the elderly which gave me the opportunity to learn and grow as a person. Connections with coworkers and patients provided me with skills to make work related relationships to use for team working. Cooperated with others in difficult situations. Performed time management skills when providing care and assistants with patients daily living. I volunteer with several organizations, one is the NRCS where I get the opportunity to help out with organizing summer events/programs for kids, along with other duties. I’m also a FFA Alumni, after high school I continue to help out where I’m needed and constantly try to be involved when available, whether is local, state or national. Camp TJ, It is a camp for special needs children, so the duties are very broad because there is a wide range of different jobs that need to be done.I was also in DECA through out high school and was a regional/state officer 3 years. I have now become an alumni and continue to offer my assistance in local, regional, and state levels in way needed. I volunteer in judging, chaperoning, offering advice and training in marketing management and advertising along with out her duties.
