About Kelsea Little
I am a sharp, creative thinker whose passion in life and work is helping other people. Currently, I am the Head of Brand Storytelling at GoFundMe, the world's largest fundraising platform. I joined the company at under 15 employees, and now we're in the hundreds with offices around the world. This has allowed me to work on many impactful projects during the company's lifetime and I've loved every second of it. I excel at operationalizing new projects from scratch, so getting in on the ground floor of a company like GoFundMe has been a dream come true. I am the host & producer of GoFundMe's first ever podcast, True Stories of Good People, a show about people who are making a difference in other people's lives, or have had their lives changed by someone kind—and sometimes both! Director Of Community & Storytelling
Senior Manager Of Brand Content
After 5 years of building out the GoFundMe communications team from the ground up, I moved into a new marketing-focused role. As Senior Manager of Brand Content, I host & produce GoFundMe's first ever podcast, True Stories of Good People, which releases a new episode every single Thursday. My production role involves researching each story, crafting the storytelling, traveling on-location to conduct the interviews, and full post-production management. I also created and manage our dedicated podcast social channels, as well as oversee the show's amplification & media strategy. I also oversee the GoFundMe Heroes editorial program, which works to surface the most inspiring stories on the platform and share them with the world via different media formats, whether that be audio, video, written content, live events, etc.
Media Director
As GoFundMe's Media Director, I was responsible for telling our company's story in the best way possible, whether it was within the GoFundMe product or externally in the media. My team and I worked to identify the most compelling stories on our platform, and then helped to tell those stories in the press and on social media. I also handled specialized campaign management for some of our most high-profile campaigns, including for celebrities and influencers. I was GoFundMe's first ever Media Director, and the first member of our communications department. In the first half of 2017, I was based in Europe helping launch two brand new GoFundMe offices in London and Paris. After returning, I developed GoFundMe's influencer strategy, as well as produced the first season of GoFundMe's podcast, which launched in Summer 2018.
