I support mostly middle aged adults in their literacy or math goals, such as obtaining a GED, a citizenship test, or simply to help their (grand)kids with schoolwork. I create lessons unique to them, keeping in mind their goals, interests, and level of knowledge so that we can advance them in their studies as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Using data, community input and general need, I created, updated, and further developed life skill programs on topics such as nutrition, mental health, and healthy relationships, which I, and my fellow coworkers, then facilitated in local classrooms to kids in grades 4-12. I also researched and created completely new lesson plans on life skill topics, such as healthy relationships, anger management, and substance abuse awareness, which my coworker and I then piloted teaching adult inmates at the local county jail. I also input and analyzed data, did content research, and helped run the social media accounts by curating unique posts meant to educate both students and parents in a more accessible way.
