Currently studying in Queen’s University Belfast- PhD in cancer medicine.In 2022 I completed a masters degree at Queen's University Belfast and received a first class honours degree in cancer medicine research. Before returning to study i worked in a biopharmaceutical company for over 2 years. i gained valuable skills in the industry which i feel have helped me with my current studies, such as writing SOPs/Risk assessments, developing aseptic techniques, using 5S strategies to organize manufacturing suites and improving my knowledge in both upstream and downstream areas of manufacturing. I had the opportunity to get involved in the commissioning and validation of the solution preparation vessels and CIP systems in previous job, ensuring the equipment meets the design specification requirements needed to make the product. Testing of this equipment has given me the opportunity to run test protocols, conduct P&ID walk downs as well as developing and writing commissioning, qualification and validation documents following established standards and templates.Due to working in such a state of the art facility i have been able to work with many digital systems such as, EBR, PAS, JD Edwards and Maximo.
