As an Electrical Designer at IMEG Corp, I play a crucial role in the creation and implementation of electrical systems for a wide range of projects. My work is integral to ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable electrical solutions that meet our clients' needs.A week to week breakdown of the type of work that happens in our workplace includes the following:CAD Development: I create precise electrical plans using Revit for government and educational projects; This includes power plans, fire alarm plans, lighting, and other project specific plans.Specification Writing: I author detailed project specifications, setting standards for contractor adherence during the construction phase.Budget Monitoring: As a team, we closely monitor project budgets during a project's lifetime, ensuring that both company fees and construction costs are diligently tracked to maintain profitability and stay within budgetary limits.Collaborative Meetings: Regularly, I engage in internal and external project team meetings, ensuring effective communication and alignment on each project.Client Relations: Each active project has its own client, so it's my job to maintain a strong relationship and adhere to any requests by the client to ensure their needs of a project are being met during a project's lifetime inside our specifications.Team Support: During downtimes, I actively assist colleagues with their projects, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.Learning Seminars: I attend regular manufacturer seminars to stay updated on the latest trends in electrical systems, enriching our project capabilities.Lessons Learned: On a monthly basis, our Electrical department holds meetings where we collectively learn from each other's experiences and research, promoting continuous improvement.

I started as a dishwasher when I was first hired on. I eventually worked my way up to become a busser and a host. I did that for around 2 years until I finally moved up to serving for about a year before departed to Schnucks. My responsibilities included providing full service to any and all customers that walked through the door, up-selling products to customers for their satisfaction, and leaving behind a good experience that would keep the customers coming back.
