About Kelsey Hansen

I am grateful to have the opportunity to be the shelter coordinator at Options Community Services in our homelessness services program. We work to facilitate a safe and supportive harm reduction environment for our clients. I was a full-time student at VCC in the Counselling Skills Foundations program. Taking the program has been one of the best decisions in my life. I absolutely love the material I have learned and look forward to applying it in the field. It is also important to me that I continue improving my professional development, so that I may pursue a career as a clinical counselor. One of the big things I have learned about myself would be my love for people and my desire to help others who are experiencing hardship in their lives.
