Hi, I'm Kelsey! I am an optimist, an opportunist and a gatherer of friends. I am seeking an opportunity to work in a collaborative, creative environment. I hope to be able to utilize my skills in social media management, writing, and my passion for community involvement in my next role. In March of 2014, I began a career in the Non Profit sector at the United Way of Washington County, MD, working with hundreds of local companies and managing a $1.1 million fundraising campaign. From January 2016 to January 2018, I worked as Director of Graduate Engagement at Leadership Washington County, working with graduates of LWC's professional development program and helping to execute a $100k fundraising effort. From January of 2018 to June of 2018, I started as a Fashion Stylist for a Nordstrom owned company, Trunk Club. In 2018, I began as a freelance writer at Skirt Magazine before taking on freelance opportunities in social media management and content creation on my own as kl creative + social.I am a graduate of Salisbury University in Maryland, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, specifically Journalism and Public Relations. I am a graduate of Leadership Washington County, Class of 2015.
