With a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Lipscomb University, I have a strong foundation in communication, writing, and critical thinking skills. These skills have helped me excel in various roles in education and office administration, where I have demonstrated my passion for learning, teaching, and service.As an Office Manager at Marina Sailing from June 2020 to 2022, I oversaw the front office operations, handled customer inquiries, and coordinated marketing campaigns. I enjoyed providing excellent service and promoting sailing as a fun and relaxing activity. I increased customer satisfaction, engagement, and retention rates by implementing effective marketing strategies, such as social media, email newsletters, and referrals. Previously, I was an English Teacher at Vox Collegiate of Los Angeles from July 2022 to June 2023, where I taught English language arts and literature to middle school students from diverse backgrounds. I created engaging and differentiated lesson plans, assessments, and feedback, and fostered a positive and supportive learning environment. I am currently a Substitute Teacher, where I teach English and literacy skills to students of different grade levels and abilities.
