I am currently enrolled into the Graduate College at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical University in Greensboro, NC in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling programs.I have been a gymnastics instructor/coach for four years, at locations including The Little Gym, Bull City Gymnastics, The Tumble Gym of Southern Village and O.C. Gymnastics. I am also a competitive cheerleading coach at Wake Forest All Stars. This work has allowed me to provide a unique service to my community, while working as a role model for the girls I coach.Outside of my work, I have had the opportunity to volunteer at various child care facilities in the area. Those locations include Learning Tots Academy, Gina's Generations Home Child Care, North Carolina Central University Child Care Lab, Charter Community Carter School, Rogers-Herr Middle School and C.E. Jordan High School. Volunteering at so many places allowed me to interact with those within our younger generations from many diverse backgrounds.Throughout my undergraduate studies I am so grateful I was able to find my passion for giving back to my community. This passion is what assisted me in graduating with honors, as well as having already completed an internship program at Learning Tots Academy. I am also certified in Adult CPR/AED and Pediatric CPR and First Aid.
