Assistant Store Manager
Current- Develops strong relationships with customers and their pets. Listens to customers identifying their needs and matching products to solve their problems, including conducting research if necessary.
- Streamlined and rectified errors in existing inventory. Developed and maintained a much-needed inventory management database.
- Maintains the computer system and peripherals used to operate the business. Leads the team in learning about new software or updates.
- Works with a small team to meet with vendors to learn about new products and make purchasing decisions.
- Generates purchase orders and processes invoices. Corrects any discrepancies in cost, sale price, or quantity.
- Performs various clerical duties such as answering phone calls to schedule appointments, relay messages to business owner, and interact with customers and vendors.
