Accept and follow through with the tasks given to me. Help restaurants adjust orders when they cannot reach Support - taking the initiative to contact the customer and make sure they are getting what they want when what they ordered is not available. Get the orders to the customers in a timely fashion - and just how they ordered them.

I was sought out to help this bar create an entertainment program that would help them to drum up some more business, and keep people around longer.I am faced with the challenges of bringing music to a place that was not initially set up for such a thing, making it appealing to local and touring bands to keep coming back to play again.Work with agents, and bands directly, negotiating their payment and the deals which will get them through the door.Run sound in a fast paced bar environment, needing to set levels that accommodate the bands and patrons alike. There is a certain finesse needed to produce live music in a Craft Cocktail Bar environment.Building the PA and stage every night there is a show, and tearing it all down at the end.

I do everything Entertainment and Imbibement related for these events.Book all the bands that will come up and play, ensuring they have all the information they need: directions, lodging options, schedules, parking spaces, etc. Ensure all the sound equipment, outdoor stage set up, PA components etc. are all going to be there when I get there. Go over everything with the rental company upon arrival, testing everything to make sure we don’t run into any speed bumps once the bands begin arriving. Order, pickup, arrange for all the alcohol that will be consumed. Build the tap system, get the kegs in place and running properly before people start walking in.Run the sound for the sound checks and full sets, while managing the bar, and making sure the volunteer staff is doing what they are supposed to be doing.I oversee the setup/tear down of all components of the festival - seeing it through from beginning to end.I also make notes so we can make improvements each festival - growing and changing to ensure each one runs more smoothly and successfully than the last.

Drive people where they need to go in a safe and timely manner.I learned this city inside and out in my tenure as a driver - and was able to create my own success in doing it.I was able to think on my toes, take directions at a moments notice, and figure out the best way to handle situations on the spot, typically having no idea what was coming my way.Social skills are a must in this arena, and I was able to talk to anyone, ease their worries if they had any, and get them comfortable right away for whatever length of our journey together.People loved the music I played in my car as well.

Booking, promoting, designing fliers, bartending, opening/closing, training new employees, inventory, updating the POS system.Responsible for running the shows, or making sure all the details were available to the staff if I was not able to be there. I was originally brought on to help bring in more diverse crowds through booking more diverse shows. I was able to help them grow their clientele, and broaden the draw of the venue.When the bar sold (changing from Bar Eleven to The Void), I was kept on because the new owner was a fan of what I had done with the Tin Can and the improvements I had made to Bar Eleven.

This place was my baby, I was there from conception to fruition. I was able to create a venue/bar/restaurant that I was proud to bring bands and customers in to utilize and enjoy. We built it from the ground up, with our own elbow grease - determining the direction it took, and the way it was presented to the general public.I was able to make it a Premier Venue in San Diego within the first 3 Months of booking shows there. We built the following strictly by word of mouth, without paying for any advertising. It was a very Grass Roots approach - which led to a very loyal following, and general curiosity of what we were up to. My responsibilities included: Bartender, Talent Buyer, Sound Engineer, Manager, Hiring/Firing, Inventory, General upkeep and repair, Problem Solver, Interior Designer, Customer Service, Promoter, Flier Designer, Public Relation, etc. I did almost everything there, it was an amazing experience that really allowed me to see what I was really capable of. I am now addicted to hard work, and making a business successful.

Editing/Rewriting User Manuals for the Software.Making travel arrangements for the Partners to go to Tradeshows/Conferences.Updating/running the company calendar to make sure everyone knew where to be and when.Reception/Phone operator - directing calls, taking notes, answering questions etc.List of all other duties: trade show coordination, expense reports, charging orders, some accounting, creating new customer accounts, sending out contracts, email correspondence, inventory upkeep – ordering computer parts and office supplies, filing, liaison with home office, creating Purchase Orders, and processing credit applications.
