During my time at the United Boys and Girls Club of Santa Barbara County, I was able to work directly under the VP of Development to help plan and execute special events, create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and handbooks and write for social media pages, press releases, grant editing and basic inputting of donations. Worked with children groups ranging from kindergarten to 5th grade. During the 4 hours after school I helped with homework, provided snacks, as well as various art and science projects, outside game activities, and general child-care protection and supervision.

Worked during the summers. Duties included filing, scanning, and copying documents for attorney’s open cases. Scanned old files from closed cases for storage and shredded sensitive materials. During the summer of 2015 I also worked as an errand runner with these assistant duties, which entailed driving to various locations to file documents at court.

Duties included basic customer service skills including answering phone calls and using cash register and ordering system. Interacted with customers in planning of parties, large groups, and take-out orders. General cleaning of restaurant and some food prep responsibilities were held as well.
