As a Cargo Coordinator for a remote glacier camp in the interior of Antarctica, I played a pivotal role in the supply chain administration for cargo movements between Punta Arenas, Chile, and Union Glacier Base Camp. I acted as a crucial point of contact for all blue ice runway operations and served as a Communications Operator and Weather Observer, collaborating closely with the Communications team. My responsibilities included proficiently managing the ordering system for a wide range of items, manifesting all inbound and outbound cargo to Punta Arenas, and ensuring the correct treatment and packing of Dangerous Goods before departure from Union Glacier.

During my time at MICA, I developed and led successful helicopter operations, contributing significantly to the company's revenue while ensuring comprehensive staff training in safety and client management. My primary duties included comprehensive staff training in helicopter safety, loading procedures, and client management, ensuring safety and top-notch service. I maintained stringent safety standards, created and adjusted daily flight plans, coordinated with the helicopter operator, and tracked weather conditions to guarantee operational excellence and safety.

I worked as an adaptive ski instructor and adaptive coordinator during the 2020/2021 and 2022/2023 winter seasons. I worked with both neurotypical and adaptive clients using a variety of assistive equipment. I also assisted with instructor scheduling and updating the adaptive lesson intake/documentation process.

I worked as an adaptive ski instructor during the 2019/2020 season. I worked with individuals with cognitive, developmental, and physical disabilities of varying ski levels. I was checked off to instruct stand-up tether lessons, slider lessons, cognitive/developmental lessons, and able-bodied lessons. I began training on 3-track, 4-track, and tethering sit skis before the season was ended early due to COVID-19.

I worked with adults severely impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder in developing life and behavior skills. This program integrated Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) with naturalistic techniques and was heavily influenced by outdoor recreation and community involvement. In addition to the direct care duties, I aided in the creation and execution of a new mental health initiative for staff. My main duties included implementing and adapting a Behavior Plan, behavior management in a variety of environments, case management, detailed notes on daily activities, evaluation of behavior trends, and guiding clients in multiple outdoor activities.

For my foundation year internship at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, I worked as a Behavior and Life Skills Coach for teenagers that were about to age out of the child welfare system. I met with clients 1-2 times per week for a minimum of 8 weeks. I assisted them in accessing community resources, self-esteem building, stress/anger management, and positive family interactions.
