As well, I developed a COVID-19 mental health information package and list of mental health resources that I distributed to patients, educating patients on the virus and offering mental health assistance, while maintaining rigorous safety standards during the COVID-19 pandemic.

2-month community pharmacy placement, part of the UW PharmD program, where I developed my counselling skills, educated patients on their medications, recommended over the counter products, checked prescriptions for clinical accuracies, administered injections, and collaborated with other healthcare professionals, while maintaining rigorous safety standards during the COVID-19 pandemic.

4-month research pharmacy placement in the medical technology field, developing evidence-based Clinical Order-Sets and conducting literary reviews on smoking cessation, COPD, C.difficile, medication safety, and in-patient hospital protocols. Member of company working groups. Presented a Journal Club to company clinicians on a systematic review meta-analysis for self-management interventions along with treatment as usual in patients living with severe mental illness.

4-month clinical pharmacy placement completing Best Possible Medication Histories (BPMH) on arrival and discharge. Clinical drug monitoring of antibiotics, anticoagulants, and anti-cancer medications. Presentations on Febrile Neutropenia in Acute Myeloid Leukemia and on Common Drug Interactions for Patient Safety Week.

4-month community pharmacy placement developing patient assessment skills through OTC and prescription counselling. Processing patient prescriptions using Nexxsys pharmacy software. Communicating with healthcare professionals on behalf of patients.
