I founded Client Edge Courses in 2022 with a desire to bring the high level of instructional design that is expected in education to small and medium businesses. I currently work as the founder and primary instructional designer working one-on-one with business owners, consultants, coaches, and other professionals to build engaging, high-quality online course for their clientele.

I began working on a university thesis project in 2014 that would later become the inaugural project of Design Cause. Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I strive to further the mission of the organization and continue to provide sustainably designed and constructed buildings in underserved regions of the world. As Executive Director, I manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, as well as, the overall strategic development and growth of this small organization. Besides the day-to-day tasks I function as US liaison to the communities we work with and on-site construction manager when we are actively building. Since our incorporation in 2015, we have successfully completed two projects and are looking to fundraise for and complete a third. Design Cause uses design as a tool to improve the lives of struggling children and communities in a sustainable way that empowers them to take control of their future.

Curriculum designer who creates and manages the completion of online courses for Ivy League Universities in the US and other prestigious universities around the globe.

In charge of creating and implementing branding and marketing strategies. Collaborates with ownership to create internal and external marketing and advertising plans, which attract new clients to the practice and keep existing clients happy. Creates all graphics and online material including the website, brochures, refer-a-friend cards and posters, and newspaper ads, as well as manage the internet presence and all social media accounts.

Led a sophomore level architecture class through the design and presentation of Design Cause's second project, a primary school addition in Thunga Malawi. The studio focused on site planning, building design, use of local and sustainable building materials, and real world applicability in a rural African context. I also led a senior level architectural computer graphics class focused on higher level use of the adobe suite, presentation graphics, and presentation skills.

Working with an established non-profit firm to make additions to a health post and design new doctor's housing in a rural, impoverished community in Malawi. As the sole designer, I am working to provide drawings to be surveyed in Malawi, as well as schematic and design development plans, sections, elevations, and details that can be taken to Malawi for review and eventual construction. Presentation of work at meeting for critique and improvement is a large part of the position.

Worked to grow the marketing and operations departments through creative, strategic thinking and effective implementation. Developed strategic marketing methods to reach profitability goals, wrote monthly and quarterly budgets, worked with customers and the management team to streamline procedure, and established more effective operations tactics are all critical parts of this role. Worked to achieve desired marketing goals through digital and social media marketing, strengthened online presence, development of a customer review and referral program, community canvassing, data analysis, and increased business to business relationships. Developed, create content for, and assisted in implementation of a e-newsletter to help build customer loyalty. Creative thinking and effective work flow and leadership are key aspects of this management position.

An architecture student that focuses on functional aesthetic design and structural detailing for a variety of different purpose buildings. A large focus on using design as a problem solving tool and research and analysis to uncover the problem to be faced.

Assisted with surveying buildings, dimensioning and making edits to drawings, quick sketchup models, and product research for a small commercial and residential firm.
