- Provides skillful and compassionate care to revive and stabilize patients suffering from traumatic injuries, heart attacks, strokes and other serious medical conditions. Actively meets the qualifications necessary to provide healthcare at a Level II trauma center, primary stroke and chest pain center. - Responsible for duties including, but not limited to EKGs, splinting, wound care, dressing, vital signs, specimen collection, suture removal, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and spinal immobilization. - Demonstrates exceptional communication skills acting as a liaison and collaborating with both doctors and nurses while providing effective patient care. Supports, educates and reassures patients and their families.
